No one really knows Kai’s Story or where they came from. Maybe they were always here. Maybe they live somewhere between daydreams and real life. Their name means from across the sea. Which feels right for someone who appears to move through life like a wave. Sometimes calm, sometimes restless, and always changing.
Kai has the cutest bear ears you’ve ever seen. Yet, no one has seen Kai without them. No one knows if they’re part of them or their hood. Even Mumu, their cat, never gives anything away. Kai is curious, messy and hopeful, a little tired sometimes, but always searching for small joys in the ordinary.
Their mischievous cat Mumu never far behind. Their best friend Chae is always cheering them on. Kai fills their day with small moments of self-care: journaling, sketching, painting things that may or may not turn into something more. Kai doesn’t chase perfection. They’re figuring things out – trying, failing, and trying again.

Kai’s world is built around noticing the beauty in the things that surround them. They notice the feel of a page in their journal. They bask in the soft melodies of piano music whilst they read. Most of all, Kai enjoys the rich smell of coffee beans in the morning sunlight whilst watching the blue tits playing in the garden, whilst Freds* chirp high up in the trees.
Every sticker, every illustration, carries a piece of Kai’s story. They are a reminder that creativity doesn’t have to be loud to matter.
